CAR CARRIER TRAFFIC
Traffic continues to increase.
In the ports of Sète, Marseille/Fos, Toulon, Nice/Villefranche, and Corsica, our main traffic consists of roll-on/roll-off cargo. The transport of new and used vehicles, both domestically and internationally, is steadily growing.
Terminals

Port of Toulon
The Port of Toulon has several freight terminals, including a heavy-duty quay in the Bregaillon industrial port zone, and passenger terminals for the Port of Toulon Côte d'Azur. Its immediate proximity to road and rail networks on the quayside makes it a genuine logistics option. Two terminals are designed for road, bulk and conventional freight traffic. 1. Quai LOLO (235m; Dft: 9m) designed for vertical handling and Ro-Ro traffic, equipped with a side or 3/4 ramp. The RORO dock (225m; Dft: 8.3m) with open rear ramp. The heavy-duty quay for special traffic, with a capacity of 40T/m². The TCA terminal (Toulon Côte d'Azur), equipped with a CENAQ system, is a terminal dedicated primarily to passengers. It has 3 quays: - Quai minerve (185m; Dft:8m) - Quai fournel (300m; Dft:8.5m) - Quai de la Corse (180m; Dft: 7.8m) Finally, the cruise terminal, with its two quays, can accommodate some of the world's largest vessels: - Môle Sud (200m; Dft: 6.8m) - North Mole (340m; Dft: 9m)

Port of Fos
The RoRo TEA-GCA / GEFCO terminal, located in Darse 3 of the Fos-sur-Mer docks, is operated by Nicolas Frères. It has a quay length of 650 meters and covers an area of 28 hectares. The terminal comprises three workstations and a pontoon, with a draught varying between 10.90 and 12.90 meters. The main markets served by the terminal include the Maghreb, Italy and Turkey. Activities offered on this site include RoRo (Roll on/Roll off), ConRo (Container RoRo) and conventional transport. It is also an import/export center for new and used vehicles, trailers and trucks. In terms of connectivity, the terminal offers multimodal services, including rail, road and river transport. It also offers PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) services, with integrated workshops carrying out work such as quality control, equipment fitting, as well as bodywork, paintwork, mechanical and detailing services. Brands covered include Dacia, PSA and Fiat.

Port of Sete
The port of Sète has several quays dedicated to ferry traffic, which carries both passengers and vehicles (cars, trucks, etc.). Berths 6, 7 and 8 are mainly used for this type of traffic, and are suitable for high-capacity ferries linking Sète with Corsica, Italy and other Mediterranean destinations. The main dimensions of the quays are as follows Pier 6: approx. 270 meters long, 30 meters wide. Quay 7: approx. 300 meters long, 30 meters wide. Pier 8: between 250 and 280 meters long, 30 meters wide. These quays are designed to accommodate large ferries, and have a water depth of 8 to 10 meters, enabling efficient loading and unloading of vehicles.

Port of Corse
Corsica's main rolling freight terminals are located in the ports of Bastia, Ajaccio, Propriano and L'ÃŽle-Rousse: Port of Bastia (North): The main rolling freight hub, with 300 to 400-meter quays, can handle large ferries to transport vehicles and goods. It also boasts loading and unloading facilities. Port of Ajaccio (South): Although smaller, it has 200 to 250-meter quays, suitable for rolling freight. It is important for links with the mainland (Toulon, Marseille) and for serving the south of the island. Port of Propriano (south-west): Smaller, it offers rolling freight services for the Sartenais region and southern Corsica, with shorter quays and ramps suitable for vehicle loading. Port de L'ÃŽle-Rousse (Northwest): A smaller port with 150 to 200-meter quays, used for less frequent connections, but essential for rolling freight in the Balagne region. These ports play a key role in the transport of goods and vehicles, facilitating exchanges between Corsica and the mainland.
